Moments in Motion: A Fashion Illustration Workshop hosted by Lisa Jiang
Join us for an engaging fashion illustration workshop that caters to all skill levels. We’ll kick off with a brief introduction where participants will learn about the day's objectives and share their experiences and goals.

Overiew:

PART 1

Focusing on the basics of drawing proportionate fashion figures using the "8-heads" standard. Lisa will provide a step-by-step demonstration, and participants will practice sketching their own figures.

PART 2

Exploration of garment rendering techniques and experiment with various tools and materials. Participants will learn to illustrate different fabrics and garment types, such as dresses and jackets, and experiment with traditional materials like pencils, markers, and watercolors.

PART 3

Life drawing session where participants will draw a model in a dress designed by Lisa, practicing figure drawing techniques including proportions, pose and gesture drawing.

PART 4

Participants will create their own fashion illustration pieces, from brainstorming concepts to finalizing their designs.
